Women’s Soccer: Cortland Earns Three Women’s Soccer All-Region Awards

Cortland has earned three spots on the 2023 United Soccer Coaches Division III Region 3 women’s soccer all-region squad. Graduate student defender Bryn Thompson (Hopewell Junction/Arlington) was selected to the all-region first team, senior midfielder Bella Casucci (Smithtown/Smithtown West) was named to the second team and senior midfielder Simone Neivel (Baldwinsville/C.W. Baker) was chosen to the third team. Thompson earned first-team all-region honors for the third straight year. Neivel is an all-region honoree for the second time; she was on the second team in 2022. Thompson started all 19 games and recorded a goal and two assists for four points.…
