Bauer drops 30 as West prevails

MAYVILLE — Carson Bauer hit 11 of 17 shots toward a 30-point night with four rebounds and four steals as West Bend West took a 60-57 boys basketball opener at Mayville Tuesday evening. Jack Waala added 12 points and four rebounds while Kade Rossebo provided 10 points, six rebounds and four assists. Jeremy Kehoe pulled down 10 boards while Cal Baker supplied five rebounds and three steals. The Spartans (1-0) host Nicolet in Today’s North Shore Conference opener. The Cardinals fell to 0-3.
