Blue Raiders drop match against Ball State in the first round of the NIVC on Thursday

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. — The Middle Tennessee volleyball team hosted Ball State in the first round of the National Invitational Volleyball Championship on Thursday at Alumni Memorial Gym. The Blue Raiders fell to the Cardinals in four. The Blue Raiders (20-10, 11-5 CUSA) dropped the match to Ball State Cardinals (17-14, 13-5 MAC) with set scores of 23-25, 17-25, 25-20 and 28-30. Sophomore Adri Rhoda lead the team in kills and set a new career high with 25 kills on a .340 clip. Redshirt senior Kayla Henley recorded 17 kills on a .467 hitting percentage.
