Oregon State is one of two members remaining in the Pac-12. With how little is known about its future, it makes sense for the coaches and players to look elsewhere. Jonathan Smith played QB for the Beavers from 1998-2001, and even he saw that the Michigan State head coaching opportunity was too good to pass up. Perhaps he brings Uiagalelei with him. They were a good match together in Corvallis, so why not continue their partnership in East Lansing?
