Kindrick Braxton Named Linebacker of the Year by Touchdown Club of Richmond

NEWPORT NEWS, Va. – Senior Kindrick Braxton of the Christopher Newport University football squad was honored on Thursday by being named the Linebacker of the Year by the Touchdown Club of Richmond. The organization released its first group of seven post-season honors, and Braxton was chosen the top linebacker among those who competed in the NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III, NAIA, USCAA, and NCCAA levels. Braxton, from Goochland, Va., led the Captains in tackles for the second straight season this fall. He made 73 total stops, and 47 were solo tackles.
