Milford boys edge Unatego/Franklin; South Kortright girls top Schenevus

The Milford boys basketball team rode a terrific shooting performance to a 63-58 victory over Unatego/Franklin Tuesday. The Wildcats hit 12 three-pointers and were able to outlast U/F in a contest that saw the two teams combine for 50 points in the fourth quarter alone. Christian Lawson led the Milford attack with 19 points while Carter Stevens scored 16, Aidan Mertz had 13 and Braden Murphy finished with nine. Xander Johnson paced U/F with 19 points while Braeden Johnson scored 12. Milford will be at the Stamford Booster Club Tournament Monday while U/F visits Schenevus next Wednesday.
