Tomiello Joins Jessen As Pair Get Recognition From American Volleyball Coaches Association

Lexington, Ky.- University of Bridgeport women’s volleyball team had two members honored by the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) earlier this week. Freshman Hailey Jessen (Highlands Ranch, Colo.) was named to the East Region First Team and East Region Freshman of the Year while Sophomore Lucia Tomiello (Caltrano, Italy) earned an honorable mention from the association. Hailey Jessen continues to rack up the awards for her stellar 2023 season. The Freshman leads all of Division II women’s volleyball with 567 total kills.
