Volleyball’s historic season wraps up in NCAAs Thursday night
LOUISVILLE – The Wright State volleyball team fell to No. 2 Louisville in four sets on Thursday night inside the KFC Yum! Center in the opening round of the NCAA Championship. The postseason loss ends Wright State’s season at 21-11 with the Raiders’ fourth trip to the NCAA Championship in the last five seasons. Wright State came out firing, taking the opening set 25-22 behind four kills each from Callie Martin and Sam Ott. The Raiders fell 25-18, 25-20 and 25-20 in the next three sets to wrap up the season.
