Josh Kelly enters transfer portal; 5 landing spots for WR
PULLMAN, Wash. (BVM) – Many talented players have already entered the college football transfer portal and one of the latest to do so is wide receiver Josh Kelly. The 6-foot-1 wideout will be one of top pass catchers available in the portal thanks to a breakout 2023 season at Washington State in which he had 61 receptions for 923 yards and eight touchdowns.

Kelly tallied eight games with at least five receptions in 2023 and surpassed 100 yards receiving in four contests, including each of the Cougars’ final three regular season matchups.
The former three-star recruit from Fresno, California began his collegiate career at Fresno State where he put up 87 receptions, 1,305 yards and four touchdowns across four seasons. A large portion of those numbers came during Kelly’s best season with the Bulldogs in 2021 when he racked up 52 receptions for 778 yards and three scores.
Kelly had a true breakout as he moved up to the Power 5 level while catching passes from Cameron Ward on a Cougars squad that ranked No. 3 in the country in passing offense during the 2023 regular season. That should create plenty of interest in the graduate wide receiver for several teams across the country.
