1. Joe Namath, QB (1965-76)

Namath holds the crown as the best Jet of all time. He was selected first overall and hit the ground running in New York, winning rookie of the year from multiple outlets. In his fourth season in the NFL, Namath led the Jets to their only Super Bowl victory and was named the MVP of the game. In 136 games, he amassed 27,057 passing yards and 170 touchdowns, earning five Pro Bowls in that time. Namath is a member of the AFL Hall of Fame All-1960s team and, in 1985, was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame.
