Martinsburg defeats Princeton 57-13 in WVSSAC Class AAA title game

WHEELING — Princeton struck first in Saturday’s WVSSAC Class AAA state championship game between the Tigers and Martinsburg. It was the Bulldogs who had the last word. After a sluggish start, Martinsburg (13-0) scored 28 points unanswered points during the second quarter and went on to collect its 10th state championship in a 57-13 victory over Princeton (12-2) at Wheeling Island Stadium.
