Field Hockey Earns Eight Academic All-MAC Team Honors

CLEVELAND, Ohio – Longwood field hockey had eight players receive Academic All-MAC Team honors, the Mid-American Conference (MAC) announced on Monday afternoon. To qualify, a student-athlete had to post a 3.20 cumulative GPA and to have played in at least half of the team’s contests. Kate Frey, Hunter-Paige Johnson, Meghan Hyatt, Kylie Levine, Santia McLaughlin, Cara Obeirne, Lara van Nunen and Isis Vrolijks all earned their spots for their work both in the classroom and on the field.
