De La Cruz Receives United Soccer Coaches All-Region Second Team Honors

LUBBOCK, Texas – Junior forward Lexi De La Cruz was selected to the 2023 United Soccer Coaches All-South Central Region Second Team Tuesday. This is the second all-region award De La Cruz has garnered this season, being named to the D2CCA All-South Central Region Second Team on Nov. 28. De La Cruz led the Lady Chaps with 24 points this season, scoring nine goals and assisting on six others as LCU finished with a 7-7-3 record and went 4-6-1 in LSC play.
