Four Eagles Garner USC All-Midwest Region Women’s Soccer Honors

As announced by the United Soccer Coaches (USC) on Tuesday (Dec. 5), four Ashland University women’s soccer players have earned All-Midwest Region honors. Junior midfielder Merrik Mihalek is a USC all-region first-teamer, following a fall in which she posted seven goals and five assists for 19 points, as well as three game-winning goals. She also has earned first-team all-region selection from the Division II Conference Commissioners Association (D2CCA), College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District and Defensive Player of the Year and first-team laurels from the Great Midwest Athletic Conference.
