Kyle McCord enters transfer portal; 5 landing spots for QB

The Orange are looking for a bright future under new head coach Fran Brown. His first major move as the Syracuse headman will be finding a starting quarterback after this year’s starter Garrett Shrader exhausted his eligibility. However, Brown is considered one of the best recruiters in the country and should be able to fill the role fast, perhaps with McCord.

Brown has a lot of experience in the Northeast, having grown up in New Jersey and coaching at both Temple and Rutgers. One of Brown’s most successful recruiting pipelines has been New Jersey, where McCord is also from. Could Brown use his deep roots in the Garden State to entice McCord to Syracuse? It’s certainly a possibility.
