Scheer picks up AVCA All-South Region honors

LEXINGTON, Ky. – Sophomore outside hitter Madison Scheer was named AVCA All-South Region, the association announced Tuesday. Putting together one of the more remarkable seasons in program history, the Eureka, Missouri native solidified career highs in kills per set (3.35), hitting percentage (.263), points per set (3.60) and blocks per set (0.47). Scheer was also named All-SEC for the first time in her career last month after picking up All-Freshmen honors following her rookie campaign.
