Seven Huskies Earn Academic All-MAC Honors

CLEVELAND, Ohio – Seven members of the Northern Illinois University women’s cross country team were named to the Academic All-Mid-American Conference Team announced by the league office on Tuesday (Dec. 5). NIU’s seven honorees represents the most for the program since the 2019 season when eight Huskies earned Academic All-MAC recognition. Julia Finegan (Palatine, Ill./Fremd), a Software Development major with a 4.0 grade point average, is a three-time Academic All-MAC honoree, having also claimed the honor in 2021 and 2022.
