Three Redbirds earn Athlete of The Week Honors

NORMAL, Ill-. Illinois State track & field’s Ariel Atias, Raydoffa Braziel, and Windsor Roberts all earn MVC Athlete of the Week Honors. Over the weekend, senior Ariel Atias won the men’s heptathlon with a total score of 5,266, He currently sits in second with the most points in the entire NCAA and leads the MVC as well. Atias won the men’s heptathlon at last years’ MVC championships. Atias won the 60m dash, shot put, and pole vault for the heptathlon.
