Women’s Soccer: Miller and Paniagua Tabbed Second Team All-Region

SAN ANTONIO — A pair of St. Mary’s University Women’s Soccer players were Tuesday named to the United Soccer Coaches All-South Central Region Second Team. Both senior defender Jackie Miller (El Paso, Texas) and sophomore midfielder Shelby Paniagua (Cibolo, Texas) earned spots on the second team after successful seasons for the Rattlers. Miller helped anchor a defense that allowed 1.2 goals per game. She started all 22 games, playing the entire 90 minutes in 17.
