Women’s Track Opens Indoor Season

WINSTON-SALEM, NC – The Allen University women’s indoor track and field team opened their season this past weekend with a pair of events at the JDL Fast Track Kickoff Classic. Sophomore Measha Jones led the Lady Jackets finishing 8th overall in the 60 meter dash in a time of 7.9 seconds while freshmen teammates Ty’kira Garrett and Keturah Walker tied for 13th overall in 8.05 seconds. Freshman Amira Belk then finished 29th in 8.2 seconds while freshman Maya Jackson was 40th in 8.6 seconds. In the 60 meter hurdles, Allen was ed by freshman Caseyona Hight coming in 32nd place…
