Diaz, Portis Earn Soccer All-America Honors

COLUMBUS, OHIO — Cal State LA’s men’s soccer team had two players earn All-America honors on Wednesday from the DII Conference Commissioner’s Association, the organization announced on Wednesday. Midfielder Oliver Diaz, the West Region Player of the Year, earned second-team honors, while defender Andrew Portis earned third-team honors in voting done by the region’s sports information directors. The United Soccer Coaches will also be announcing their All-America teams. Diaz and Portis were two of three players from the California Collegiate Athletic Association to earn All-America honors.
