Print Tweet Share E-mail Saavedra earns AVCA All-America Honorable Mention LEXINGTON, Ky.. – Spring Hill College volleyball’s Mia Saavedra earned an American Volleyball Coaches Association All-America Honorable Mention, the AVCA announced Wednesday. Saavedra was named the AVCA Division II South Region Freshman of the Year and earned a spot on the All-South First Team earlier this month. She became the first freshman in program history to receive the Freshman of the Year honor. Her All-South Region First-Team nod was the fourth in program history. Spring Hill has now been represented on the All-Region and All-America teams for five straight seasons.…
