Valentic named AVCA All-American Honorable Mention

LEXINGTON, Ky. – IUP women’s volleyball senior middle hitter Lauren Valentic was named to the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) All-American Honorable Mention Team, announced by the organization on Wednesday. Valentic continues adding to her long list of accolades this season, including All-Pennsylvania First Team laurels, all-region honors from the AVCA and Division II Conference Commissioners Association (D2CCA) and PSAC West Defensive Player of the Year. She is the first AVCA All-American honoree in program since Natalie Cignetti in 2017 and just the third since 2002.
