El-Shami & Fowler Named United Soccer Coaches All-Americans

KANSAS CITY – United Soccer Coaches announced the 2023 NCAA Division II Men’s and Women’s All-Americans on Thursday with a pair of University of North Georgia women’s soccer player receiving the All-American designation. Maysoon El-Shami was selected a first team All-American while teammate Sierra Fowler collected 2nd team All-American honors. El-Shami led the Nighthawks in scoring with 18 points on six goals and six assists. The Peach Belt Conference first team All-Conference selection led a balanced UNG offensive attack with a team-best 21 shots on goal and three game-winning goals.
