Norman High, Norman North host stacked field at Joe Lawson Tournament

Norman High and Norman North will host five state tournament teams from last season at the fifth annual Joe Lawson Tournament this weekend. The Norman High girls return as the defending champs, after knocking off Classen SAS in the first-place match. On the boys side, Norman High is coming off its best finish ever at its home tournament, beating Westmoore in the placement game to secure third place with a 2-1 record. The tournament begins on Thursday with games being played on both Norman campuses. The Tigers begin their title defense at 6 p.m. at Norman High against Lawton MacArthur.…
