Top 10 Kentucky boys basketball players in the Class of 2024
1. Travis Perry, G, Lyon County
Perry stands alone atop this list after a historic run with the Lyons. Last season, Perry broke the KHSAA all-time scoring record, with over 4,337 points and still has a year to go. During his junior year, Perry’s elite scoring was on display again as he averaged 31.6 points, third-highest in the state, and 6.1 rebounds while shooting 52.3% from the field, 44.9% from 3-point territory and 87.4% from the free throw line. He was also a unanimous first-team all-state selection and all-tournament after leading Lyon County to the Elite Eight.
Perry is the lone Kentucky representative on the ESPN 100, ranking No. 84 nationally, and is the unanimous top player in the state. He held 21 offers and made seven official visits to programs like Cincinnati, Michigan, Missouri, Ole Miss and Purdue, but decided to stay in-state, signing with the Kentucky Wildcats on Nov. 15.
