Top 10 Kentucky boys basketball players in the Class of 2024
5. Brett Decker, G, Central Hardin
Decker was one of the top returning scorers in the state and lived up to those expectations. The junior averaged 23 points and 3.6 rebounds while shooting 54% from the field and 49.1% from 3-point range for the Bruins last year. For his efforts, Decker was recognized as the 5th Region Player of the Year.
The 6-foot-1 guard is ranked as a three-star recruit by 247 Sports and as high as the No. 5 senior in the state by Prep Hoops. Decker earned a handful of D-I offers including Austin Peay, Eastern Kentucky, Morehead State and Tennessee Tech, but he signed with Liberty on Nov. 9.
