3. Ayden Evans, C, Elizabethtown
Evans is the most talented big man in Kentucky as evidenced by his stellar junior year. He averaged 16.1 points and 9.6 rebounds while shooting 61% from the field and 45.5% from 3-point territory for a 24-10 Panthers squad that advanced to the Elite Eight. For his efforts, Evans was named first-team all-state by the Courier Journal.
The 6-foot-8 center is considered to be the best in the Commonwealth, ranking as high as the No. 2 prospect in the state by ESPN. Evans held D-I eight offers from the likes of Mississippi State, Missouri, Seton Hall, Texas A&M and West Virginia, but he instead committed to Ohio on Nov. 16.
