The fourth ranked University of Missouri-St. Louis volleyball team's 2023 season ended with a loss to Cal State Los Angeles in straight sets in the semifinal round of the NCAA Championships at the UPMC Events Center in Moon Township, Pa. Cal State LA hit .364 registering 48 kills against eight errors in 110 attempts. UMSL was held to a .212 attack percentage with 40 kills against 18 errors in 104 chances. Elliott finished with a game-high 19 kills and was joined in double figures by Dittmann and Iane Henke with 10 kills each. Cannon handed out 39 assists, Haley Roundtree finished with seven blocks, and Henke had a team-high 10 digs. Lexie Rang led the Tritons with 17 kills and was joined in double figures by Delaney Humm with 11 kills. Caitlin Bishop handed out 38 assists while Kylie Adams finished with a match-high 15 digs. UMSL ends its season with a record of 34-2 including 13-0 in the GLVC, won the GLVC Regular Season title and its second consecutive Midwest Region championship.
