Normal West’s Ellie Rink selected Pantagraph high school volleyball Player of the Year

Randy Reinhardt Producing clutch performances all season, Ellie Rink sparked the Normal West High School volleyball team to a Class 4A super-sectional berth. “Ellie played with a lot of confidence this season and was a game changer for us especially when we needed it,” West coach Kelsey Mueller said. “She really carried our team through postseason.” Rink topped the Wildcats with 346 kills with 45 percent of her attempts resulting in kills.
