BEAUMONT, Texas – The Lamar University Athletics Department watched 19 of its student-athletes take part fall commencement ceremonies over the weekend. The Cardinals had student athletes from five different programs participate in the ceremonies. Football led the way with nine graduates, while the back-to-back Southland Conference Champion soccer team graduated five. Baseball had three graduates while softball and men’s tennis each had one (individual graduates by sport listed below).
