CCNY Women’s Track & Field Kicks Off Indoor Season at Seahawk Shootout

By: Sebastian Bush, Assistant AD/Communications Staten Island, NY – The City College of New York women’s track and field program opened the 2023-24 indoor season on Friday, competing at the Seahawk Shootout hosted by Wagner College at the Ocean Breeze Track & Field Athletic Complex. For the Beavers, freshman Maisha Islam competed in the 1000-meter run, running a time of 3:46.81. In the mile run, freshman Lizbeth Diaz represented CCNY, producing a time of 6:57.33.
