Jordan Waters enters transfer portal; 5 landing spots for RB

1. South Carolina

South Carolina had a disappointing 5-7 season in 2023 and will be looking to rebound in Shane Beamer’s fourth year at the helm in 2024. However, that will come with a new look on offense as quarterback Spencer Rattler heads to the NFL. The Gamecocks’ leading rusher, Mario Anderson, is also set to be gone after entering the transfer portal, while backup Dakereon Joyner has declared for the NFL draft after six seasons in Columbia. The Gamecocks will almost certainly attempt to add some guys on offense and Waters could be one of them. South Carolina may also provide Waters with the most playing time of any team on this list while being able to stay relatively close to home.
