Pimenta Crowned AVCA All-America Honorable Mention

LEXINGTON, Ky. – Redshirt-senior Ana Pimenta (Rio de Janeiro, Brazil) of the Southern New Hampshire University women’s volleyball team was named an American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) All-America Honorable Mention last week. Pimenta becomes the program’s first All-American, after also being chosen as the first All-Region performer in school history when she was selected as both an AVCA East All-Region First Teamer and Division 2 Conference Commissioners Association (D2CCA) East All-Region Second Teamer.
