Alex Geddes, Shamica Carey Earn CACC Cross Country All-Academic Honors

NEW HAVEN, Conn. — Senior Alex Geddes (Randolph, N.J.) and junior Shamica Carey (Nassau, Bahamas) have been named to the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Women’s Cross Country All-Academic Team, the league announced today. Geddes, an Accounting major with a 3.89 GPA, is a three-time All-Academic selection, having made the squad in 2022 and 2021. This year he finished third on the Cougars at the CACC Championships (43rd, 31:58.08). Carey, an accounting major with a 3.80 GPA, is a two-time pick, earning All-Academic last year as well.
