Belcher, Ruth Land CSC Academic All-District Honors

Ashland University’s volleyball team has two 2023 College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District awardees, as both junior outside hitter Makenna Belcher and junior middle blocker Bailey Ruth were honored on Tuesday (Dec. 12) afternoon. Belcher, with a 3.91 cumulative grade-point average as an Exercise Science major through the 2023 spring semester, was a first-team All-Great Midwest Athletic Conference selection after pacing the Eagles with 428 kills and adding a .230 hitting percentage, 51 assists, 31 service aces, 359 digs and 44 total blocks.
