Ind. – Lees-McRae women’s volleyball student-athletes Madison Goins, Patrycja Rykala, Sydney Stigler, and Lauren Xayavong were named to the 2023 College Sports Communicators Academic All-District® NCAA Division II Women’s Volleyball Team on Tuesday afternoon. Goins, a senior from Lowgap, North Carolina, successfully guided the Bobcats to the most wins in a single season since 2014 with 15 in 2023. Goins ended her athletic career at Lees-McRae with 1,627 career assists, seventh all-time in program history, and was fourth all-time in assists per set in a single season with 10.96 in 2023.
