Negrete Garcia Named All-American

GENEVA, N.Y. – On Tuesday morning, the National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) released its All-American teams. Claudia Negrete Garcia of the Miami University field hockey team was named a Second-Team All-American. The senior had a superb season for the Red and White. The Santander, Spain native led the RedHawks in goals (16), points (36), shots (90) and shots on goal (59). She also started in all 23 contests and ranked 26th in the country in goals per game with .70.
