Smisdom Named NFHCA All-American

GENEVA, N.Y. – University at Albany junior Alison Smisdom has been named First Team All-America, the National Field Hockey Coaches Association announced Tuesday. Ranking in the top five of the nation in goals per game and points per game, Smisdom led the team with 23 goals and 53 points. Fresh off her third straight NFHCA First Team All-Northeast Region honor and her second consecutive America East Midfielder of the Year award, she has earned her second First Team All-American honor in as many years.
