Volleyball: Three Dukes Earn Academic All-District Honors

HARRISONBURG, Va. – Three James Madison women’s volleyball student-athletes were named to the College Sports Communicators Division I Academic All-District Team, the organization announced Tuesday afternoon. Junior libero Jaydyn Clemmer and seniors Miëtte Veldman and Elizabeth Helmich earned all-district recognition. Clemmer and Veldman earned all-district honors for the second time, while Helmich received the honors for the first time. To qualify for all-district laurels, a student-athlete must maintain a cumulative grade-point average of at least 3.50 without rounding up and must’ve either started in 66% or competed in 90% of all matches.
