Faith Lee: DAC’s 2023 Most Valuable Golfer shares why she loves the game
VALPARAISO, Ind. — Faith Lee is a Valparaiso High School Senior recently named “Most Valuable Golfer” by the Duneland Athletic Conference this Fall. Originally introduced to golf because her dad was passionate about it and her two older sisters were already playing in high school, Faith got involved and fell in love with the sport too. She relishes the mental aspect, noting that, though there can be many tough days on the course, “when you finally get it, it feels amazing.”
Golf’s positive impact extends beyond the competition and awards for her. She appreciates the many great friends and memories she’s made by being on the golf team and the quality time it’s given her with her family. Playing golf provided “a great time to bond with my dad since we’re both busy people; it set aside a couple hours here and there for us to hang out and practice.”
