High School Volleyball: Talent is abundant with 2023 all-Metro volleyball team

JIM NELSON Courier Sports Editor The Courier is announcing its 2023 all-metro volleyball squad. The 14-member team is full of talented players who helped propel their teams to great success during the fall season. Cedar Falls, which qualified for the 5A state tournament, leads with five honorees. Highlighting the Tigers selections are three repeat all-metro picks – Brynn Bakula, Grace Hannam and Anni Wedgbury. The Cedar Falls contingent also includes senior Paige Paup and Natalie Schmadeke. Paup, Hannam, a junior, and Wedgbury, a sophomore were all first-team all-Mississippi Valley Conference picks.
