Jackson Named MEAC Field Athlete Of The Week

NORFOLK, Va. (Dec. 14, 2023)-Morgan State senior Tia Jackson was named Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) Women’s Field Athlete of the Week, presented by Coca-Cola, the conference office announced today. Jackson captured her second consecutive win in the long jump this past weekend, recording a mark of 5.82m at the Joe Handelman Invitational hosted by Princeton University. She also ran a leg on the 4X400 relay team, helping the Lady Bears win with a time of 4:36.55. The previous weekend Jackson jumped 6.00-meters at the Navy Indoor Invitational.
