Football: Three Red Dragons Earn D3football.com All-America Honors

Three Cortland football players – senior wide receiver Cole Burgess (Greenwich), junior quarterback Zac Boyes (Buffalo/Kenmore West) and junior running back Jaden AlfanoStJohn (Westhampton/Westhampton Beach) – have been selected as 2023 All-Americans by the website D3football.com. Burgess was named to All-America second team, Boyes to the third team and AlfanoStJohn to the fourth team. The team were announced just prior to Cortland’s game versus North Central College in the Amos Alonzo Stagg Bowl, the NCAA Division III championship game, in Salem, Va.
