Healy of Women’s Soccer Garners USC Scholar All-American Honors; Haggerty & Olson Nab Scholar All-East Region Accolades

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Senior midfielder Niamh Healy (Orangeburg, N.Y./Tappan Zee) garnered United Soccer Coaches’ (USC) Scholar All-American First Team accolades and two other members of The University of Scranton women’s soccer team earned United Soccer Coaches’ Scholar All-East Region honors as announced by the organization on Friday. Healy also garnered First Team Scholar All-Region accolades, while fellow senior midfielder Mary Haggerty (Garden City, N.Y./Garden City) and junior goalie Nicole Olson (Stoughton, Mass./Ursuline Academy) were selected to the Third Team.
