LaJohntay Wester enters transfer portal; 5 landing spots for WR
BOCA RATON, Fla. (BVM) – LaJohntay Wester has entered the transfer portal following a breakout season with Florida Atlantic where he proved to be one of the top Group of Five wideouts in the country.

Wester spent four seasons with the Owls, seeing minimal playing time as a freshman before posting back-to-back seasons with over 60 catches and more than 700 receiving yards in 2021 and 2022.
In 2023, Wester had his best season to date as he made 108 receptions for 1,168 yards while scoring eight touchdowns. The receptions were the second most among all FBS receivers while the yards ranked No. 11 in the country.
The speedy Wester is also a dangerous kick returner and was named the 2023 American Athletic Conference Special Teams Player of the Year. He earned first-team All-AAC honors as a wide receiver and was named a first-team All-American by the Football Writers Association as well.
