LaJohntay Wester enters transfer portal; 5 landing spots for WR
3. Florida State
Taking the leap from a 4-8 Florida Atlantic team to a 13-0 Florida State squad would be a big one for Wester but is not out of the realm of possibility. The Seminoles are going to be turning a new page offensively next season as longtime quarterback Jordan Travis will be gone. It’s quite possible that standout transfer receiver Keon Coleman departs as well for the NFL draft, something one of FSU’s other star wideouts, Johnny Wilson, has already done. The Noles do have a couple of talented receivers arriving among their Class of 2024 commits, but a veteran addition like Wester could be important for next season. Tallahassee may be a ways from Wester’s hometown, Palmetto, but joining the Seminoles would still keep him in his home state.
