Mihalek, Mendenhall Earn USC Scholar All-American Honors

On Friday (Dec. 15) afternoon, Ashland University junior midfielder Merrik Mihalek (first team) and junior forward McKinley Mendenhall (second team) were named to the 2023 United Soccer Coaches (USC) NCAA Division II Women’s Soccer Scholar All-American rolls. Mihalek has a 3.75 cumulative grade-point average as a Business Management and Entrepreneurship major. Also a USC first-team Scholar All-Region selection, she finished the season having posted seven goals and five assists for 19 points, as well as three game-winning goals.
