GENEVA, N.Y. – On Friday, junior midfielder Jady van Gils was named the 2023 National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) Division II National Player of the Year, marking the first time in her career she has received the prestigious national honor. van Gils is the first Warrior in program history to be named National Player of the Year by the NFHCA and second overall as Ashley Kocis earned the recognition back in 2006.
