UH Swimming Opens UNLV Invitational With Time Trials
LAS VEGAS — University of Hawai’i swimmers posted the top times in six events in Saturday’s long-course time trials to open the UNLV Invitational in Las Vegas. In the women’s events, UH graduate student Anna Friedrich led the 100-meter backstroke with a time of 1 minute, 4.55 seconds. Freshman Zofia Tyminska (1:10.79) and junior Kathryn Ivanov (1:11.32) topped the 100-meter breaststroke. Graduate student Mira Selling (57.71) placed first in the 100-meter free at 57.71 seconds.
